Choosing a gift is never easy, especially when u are supposed to do it with 2 clueless gals... =S I shan't elaborate, but eventually we got Li Xue a nice-looking blouse! =D
At lunch, there was a short interesting conversation between Ms H and myself. This was how it went.....
Ms H: (in deep serious & mysterious tone) Mr Tan, before we begin, it's important that u know something.
Mr Tan: (look up from the menu curiously) Yes, what is it?
Ms H: (in a do-or-die manner) There are certain things we don't have at this age. One of them is money.
Mr Tan: (laughing) It's my treat. =)
It is heartening to realise neither of them took it that their lunch will be paid for. Hmmm.... Well brought-up gals. =D
Total damage after SAFRA discount was $27 for 3 pax. The coffee was free-flowing and it was very nice. xD
