National Runway Cycling and Skating 2008

National Runway Cycling and Skating 2008 (NRWCS 08) is organised by SAFRA, RSAF* and SSC* in conjunction of the National Faimly Week 2008.

The details of the event are as follow:

TIME: 8am
VENUE: Paya Lebar Air Base
200 Airport Road Singapore 534257

Routes:

1) Family Route: 6km

2) Leisure Route: 15km

3) Shimano Endurance Challenge:

a) Cyclists - 45km

b) Skaters - 30km

Registration for this event is free.

You can choose to cycle or skate. Bicycle rental is available at any SAFRA Clubhouse or online @ $18 per bicycle for the whole event. Reservation and payment for the bicycle rental must be made by 11 May 2008, Sunday. Whereas for skates, u have to bring your personal ones.

I am keen to rent a bicycle and sign up for the Leisure Route. There are other fringe activities, lucky draw and goodie bags too. Anyone interested? Let's go cycle/skate along the airfield runway! It happens only once a year! =D

Once registered, I'll inform u of the meeting place and transportation on that day.

By the way, participants under 18 years of age require parental consent. Here's the form. The idemnity form has to be signed by your parents.
