Business was brisk. Sold about 180 of them, big & small, and earned $371.50 in 150 minutes today. I am referring to the sale of our very own hand-made, technology-assisted, beautifully-designed badges which carry our school's six core values, namely, Self-discipline, Passion, Integrity, Courage, Excellence and Sincerity (SPICES).
The creator who breathes lives into these six characters, representing the different values, featured on the badges is none other than our talented graphic artist, Hazel Koh Chiao Chu. But her great work was not completed single-handedly. Her all-time benefactor and also our former resident IT trainer, Ms Lee, is responsible for the overall layout & design. Despite now being a teacher in SNGS, Ms Lee continues to contribute greatly to the entire production process. In case u are not aware, she is the one who initiated this fund-raising movement. Next-year P1 kiddies will also receive one badge each during the P1 Orientation on Friday afternoon. It's gonna be everywhere!
And many many thanks to many of Hazel's classmates, especially Gary and Rebecca, for helping out in both the production and sales. Not forgetting our very dynamic "sales team" consisting of Vanessa, Yimun, Lixue, Junyong, Wan Shi and many many more. [ How come no mention of the marketing manager, mr alan tan, huh? ("!) ]
The sale of the badges will continue for another two days on Thursday and Friday. Our target is $888 in revenue. Be sure to get your friends and relatives to support us! =)
While the sales were catching on like wild fire around the school, our soccer team consisting of Jang Wook, Brenwin, Ashley, Aaron, Edmund Ong, Aloysius and Leroy, advances to the finals of the inter-class soccer tournament on Thursday. We shall turn up in full force to support them! =D
Think this afternoon really got to be the last dodge ball game that we would play as a class and in the name of 6.7... The thought of it makes me sad... ='( A thousand apologies to Xuan-ster & Angel (the innocent passer-by) for the "head-shots". xD Who knows, they might need to thank me, for the concussion might just make them...... errr...... smarter? =P
Before the end of school, everyone receives their long-awaited class photos! I got mine too, and it's free! The photos are funny! xD
I rushed down to IMM Jurong to support my robotics contingent in action @ 2pm. What were u doing then? I saw something really interesting in the sky along the way. Check out the pics! Good news is one team advances to the finals on Friday! Friday!!?? Who's gonna go with them!? =O That's the bad news. =(

Gigantic THANKS to Mr ALan Tan for fulfilling my very last & BIG wish. Thanks for sending me for printing in Peace Centre and other trips to Bras Basah Complex for badge making. It seemed to be just some "say-say-but-no-action" proposal as it was my last days in anderson but you made it possible after some "hauntings" from me. Sorry for that =P
Lastly, all the best to all taking part in SDMA. Though I wouldn't be around,but keep my PASSION and spirits flying high. It's not about winning but taking part,the process and the experience.
I really had fun taking part in 6 competitions and bonus - winning all 6! The last competition (Kid Witness News)exactly went out of point due to me leaving and insufficient time to complete it but the judges still like it, due to some unknown reasons.. and we got it again!YOung Film Maker Award! Hahaha!
